Picnic areas are provided for our motel guests. One picnic area is close to the motel and has a deck with a picnic table and charcoal grill.  From this spot you have a beautiful view of the Hickory Nut Falls and Chimney Rock State Park.  The other picnic area has a picnic table and is located at the end of the nature trail that is situated overlooking your own private waterfalls. 

Parking at the motel is located in two separate areas. Parking directly in front of the motel is for cars and small trucks. Additional parking is located on the left side of the motel for larger trucks.   

Movies And Munchies!  We have candy bars, popcorn, and sodas to enjoy with the movies we have available.  The DVD's available to borrow are free of charge.

Trout fishing!  Our motel is located only 1/4 mile from one of the stocking points on the river. An easy walk from the motel will get you there.  Make sure you take a cooler, you'll need it!

Bird Watching in the Chimney Rock area is a favorite pastime.

Rock Climbing is available at Chimney Rock State Park

Chimney Rock State Park is located only 1/2 mile from the motel. A great way to spend the day and take in breathtaking views. The park offers a wide variety of things to do that keeps everyone in the family entertained.  Discount tickets are available to our motel guest upon request.
